Terms & Conditions
1. About us
This website is operated by Miranda Holland Artist & Illustrator.
If you need to contact us about an order, please email miranda@mirandaholland.com.
2. These terms
These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all orders placed through this website for prints, cards, books, original artwork, gifts, and any other products sold through the online shop.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
3. Products
We take care to describe and present our products as accurately as possible.
Please note that:
-
colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device
-
as artwork and print products are visual by nature, small differences in appearance may occur
-
product sizes, materials and framing details, where relevant, are described on the product page
All products are subject to availability.
4. Prices and payment
All prices shown on this website are in pounds sterling (£).
Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed and accepted.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown during checkout before you complete your order.
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering using the payment methods offered on the website.
5. How your order is accepted
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that your order has been received.
Your order is only accepted when we confirm dispatch of the item, or otherwise confirm that the order has been accepted.
If we are unable to accept your order for any reason, we will let you know and refund any payment made.
6. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the timescale stated on the product page or at checkout.
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary, especially during busy periods or where delays occur outside our control.
If no specific delivery period is agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of the contract being made.
If we are unable to deliver within a reasonable time, we will contact you.
7. Your right to cancel
If you are buying as a consumer, you usually have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
To cancel, you must let us know clearly by email at miranda@mirandaholland.com before the cancellation period ends.
Once you have told us you wish to cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days.
Refunds will be made within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods, or receiving evidence that they have been returned, whichever is earlier.
You may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless the item is faulty or not as described.
8. Exceptions to cancellation
The right to cancel does not apply to certain items, including:
-
personalised or custom-made items
-
sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery
-
any other items excluded by law
If a product is made to your specification or clearly personalised, we will make this clear on the product page.
9. Returns and refunds
Please see our Returns page for practical information about returning items.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
If you cancel an order within the legal cancellation period and return the item in accordance with these terms, we will refund the price paid and, where required by law, the basic delivery cost.
We may reduce the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced by unnecessary handling.
10. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
Under consumer law, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at miranda@mirandaholland.com with your order details and, where helpful, photographs.
If a product is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy in line with your legal rights.
11. Original artwork and handmade items
Original artwork and handmade items may contain natural variations or small signs of the handmade process. These are part of the character of the work and are not usually treated as faults.
Where an item is one of a kind, it is subject to availability until the order is accepted.
12. Intellectual property
All artwork, images, designs, text, and content on this website remain the intellectual property of Miranda Holland unless stated otherwise.
Buying a product does not transfer copyright or any reproduction rights.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use any artwork, images, or content from this website without prior written permission.
13. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including postal disruption, courier delays, severe weather, supply issues, or technical problems.
14. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to that, our liability for losses connected with your order will be limited to the price paid for the product purchased.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections in the part of the UK where you live.
